Disappointing Buffet dinner at Hotel Rendezvous !!!

After much delays and nagging finally managed to use the voucher I bought to eat buffet.

Met Kai at Redhill Mrt and we had a selection of Fairmont, Carlton and Hotel Rendezvous. Initially wanted to try Fairmont, though the address was Bras Basah it was beside Raffles City. We passed by Carlton but saw nobody. In the end decided at Rendezvous.

There were some people eating there so we presumed it would be good but we were wrong !

Other than, oysters, mussels, salmon, and durian desserts there are not much to eat.
Dinner buffet $42/pax very expensive
Oysters, mussels, salmon, some white fish, baby octopus and kim chee.
Jelly fish in sweet and sour sauce.
Limited variety of sushi. Lousy standard, the rice got no vinegar smell and hard.

Desserts worth dying for !!!
Rich and creamy durian cake !!!
This small shot of Durian Pengat" smells and tastes better than the cake. No wonder its served in such small serving.

After dinner went to Plaza Sing to walk around and happened to see our polymate Leonard. He had changed alot since i last seen him. Seems like Australia is a very relaxed place.
